Yes: You can have numbness of your arm if you sleep with head resting on the arm. This happens because the weight of your head blocks circulation in the arm until you wake up. No real harm done, though. Hope that helps.

my whole body goes numb while sleeping and i feel like my body is rotating. even after i wake up sometimes my fingers cannot be stretched.

Joint stiffness: If your joints are stiff in the morning and they get better as the day goes by, you may be suffering from arthritis. You need to be evaluated by a physician for this and the other issue

i am using testosterone androderm transdermal patches and my body parts go numb while i sleep. related?

Don't think so: While anything is possible, testosterone in general & Androderm specifically have not been linked to any body parts going numb. It would've been helpful to know which parts go numb and if consistently same or varying. You can try your own experiment under your doc's supervision by coming off Androderm to see if numbness goes away or not. Good luck!

Sleep Paralysis: Possibly sleep paralysis, which occurs in 1 out of 3 people in their lifetime. Is caused by sleep deprivation, shift work sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, alcohol or drug use.

See a doctor: Anytime numbness is involved with the body, it is a concern and should be checked asap.  You should also keep some sort of diary (foods, meds, activities, etc., ) which might help the dr. With some insight into your issues.

Sleep paralysis : This can sometimes happen during the periods when you awake or fall asleep;  it's a temporarily sensation where you feel like you cannot move.  It doesn't necessarily mean anything's wrong with you, it sometimes just happens... But can be associated with narcolepsy or obstructive sleep apnea.

Hard to tell: It's important to speak with your primary care doctor or neurologist - your symptoms sound like pain from one of your nerves.  The difficulty concentrating and decrease in sleep can simply be from the pain you're having. If your pain is being treated, or if you're seeking help for it and it's hard to treat, concentration and sleep problems could indicate anxiety and/or depression. Hope this helps.

i have scoliosis since a child but i don't know what is going on with me my body hurts as well as tingling numbness my body throbes when i'm trying to sleep so my sleep is off as well?

Scoliosis?: Scoliosis is an abnormal sideways curvature of of the spine (unlike lordosis and kyphosis which are normal) that usually occurs in prepubertal years due to cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy. You should by now have been seen by a physician or neurologist who would have discussed your condition with you as well as the way forward and the prognosis. If not please talk to your treating doctor
