Treat Gastroparesis: Gastroparesis means slow-emptying stomach. Causes may be mechanical (obstruction, or stomach outlet narrowed from healing of past inflammation, treated by endoscopic dilation), post-inflammatory (due to swelling of stomach lining from ulcers, treated with acid blockers), or neurologic (as with diabetes, treated with rx that stimulates motility--domperidone, erythromycin, reglan). U need eval &amp; Tx.

my anus has a huge blue/purple lump on it and its very painful. it also has like a cut/tear on it and has been bleeding and mucus on my stool. plz hel?

Try a hemorrhoid gel: This is most likely a hemorrhoid. That has thrombosed - developed a clot in a swollen vein around the rectum. Try conservative treatment 1st - lubricate the bump with gel, take stool softeners, eat more fiber, drink more water, take warm baths, use over the counter pain pills,  take daily walks or other exercises. If it doesn't resolve, surgical excision of the hemorrhoid may be the best treatment.

my son is 18  months old, and started throwing up out of the blue. his throw up is has a lot of mucus. before he throws up, we can hear the phlegm. he does not have a fever.  what could this be?

Reflux: It may be reflux, and hard to say without more information. I would check to see if he has anything new in his diet that could be triggering. Does he have other symptoms: cough, runny nose, fever? Those could indicate that he has a viral gastroenteritis that will run its course in due time. Be sure to keep him adequately hydrated.

i get mucus out of my mouth and nose too. sometimes because of talking sometimes out of the blue. it comes out thick white or yellow. please help.

See your doctor : These symptoms may be from sinus infection or inflammation. Other nasal symptoms such as congestion, and diminished ability to smell can be a part of the sinusitis picture. Drinking plenty of water and using nasal saline spray  can help. If your symptoms have been present for more than two weeks you should see your doctor.

im suppose to get my period in 6,7days from now but i have blue vein on breast and mucus is a little white but also slippery wet, can i be pregnant?
