Blood between period: You  should be evaluated by a doc in the office. Causes of spotting between periods can be any of multiple benign causes, but this is also a symptom of endometrial hyperplasia, endometrial cancer, or cervical cancer.

Could be an STD: Might be due 2 minor trauma from sex, if rough or not enough lube, but need 2 also think about an std or hpv causing changes in the cervix. Chlamydia or gonorrhea can cause spotting after sex. See your doc 4 a pap to look at the cervix & check for hpv changes, & if you've had a new partner or more than 1 partner, consider std testing. Gynecology exam: From the nature of your description it is not clear exactly what the lesion on your vagina may be. I therefore strongly encourage you to have a gynecology exam as soon as possible. The gynecologist will take a history &amp; examine you. A biopsy of the lesion may be necessary. Sexual counseling should also be offered to you by the gynecologist. The sooner you are properly examined the better!

Infection?: Any new discharge, whether bloody or not, especially when accompanied by other symptoms, could be due to an infection (sometimes pregnancy). Get checked to be sure, if you have had unprotected sex.  IF you haven't, and it continues for more than a few days, get checked, there are other infections that are not transmitted by sex.
