Excellent idea: Could be swelling from infection and need antibiotic treatment. Until then, soak it in warm water, elevate it, clean it with mild soap and water.

Sounds like you have: athletes foot. This is a fungal infection of the foot/toe. Buy some over the counter anti fungal athletes foot cream and use as directed. If it does not resolve within a few days go to a health care professional for a thorough evaluation.

Not at all: Blisters from friction will fill with a serrous fluid. Pus can form if they become infected. Smaller blisters should be left intact so as to not allow them to become infected. If they do tear open apply antibiotic ointment and a sterile bandage. If they do not resolve in a week or so be sure to see your doctor. If you do see pus, they are already infected, and you should see a doc much sooner.

why do i get blisters on my right foot only? it can't be my shoe because they are the same.

Not shoe, but you: The constant is that the blisters develop on your right foot, and if this happens in any of the shoes you are wearing, then it's the way that your foot is moving.  Have your feet checked and your gait examined by a podiatrist with and without shoes.

Let it heal on own: A blister functions like a biologic dressing, keeping out bacteria and dirt. Allow it to resolve on its own if possible. 
If it pops, keep the area clean and dressed with antibiotic ointment and a sterile bandage you change daily.

Not herpes: Although it is possible to get herpes lesions on other parts of the body (called herpes gladiatorum), it is rare and is v. unlikely in your case. Most probably you're body is reacting to the ill-fitting shoes. I would definitely stop wearing the shoes entirely and try to minimize any activity that makes the feet hurt. You need to rest and recover first. Keep off the feet and protect the blisters.

i've had this blister/scab on the top of my foot for a few days from shoes and now it's inflamed and has pus. should i be worried?

See you doctor: If there is pus coming from the wound, have it evaluated for possible oral antibiotic therapy. Local wound care can be provided as well.
