i just found out i am 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant. i am having very light pink 'bleeding' when i wipe. is this normal?

Watch for warnings: A light tinge of blood while wiping may mean nothing. But if it increases in amount and begins to seem like a period or more, you may be having an early miscarriage. Bleeding in early pregnancy can also be a signal of an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy, so you don't want to ignore symptoms. Please contact your OB provider if things change or you become alarmed.

Get checked: Causes of bleeding per rectum include hemorrhoids, diverticular disease, anal fissures, colon cancers, av malformations, or upper GI bleeding causes.  Likely your symptoms of bleeding only with the wipe is related to a hemorrhoid, but to be sure, follow with a doctor for evaluation.

Not normal: Blood in the stool is not normal and needs to be explained. Causes include local irritation, anal fissure ( crack in the tissue) hemorrhoid, polyp, inflammation( colitis ) and cancer. You will need to see a health care provider to get a diagnosis.

Depends. : Seeing an ob-gyn could benefit you since a physical Examination might help detect the direct cause of vaginal bleeding.   Although common causes are vaginitis or vaginal atrophy,  something more serious could be causing the bleeding.

However, it takes about 2-3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. 
Practice safe sex.
