i just had twin boys via cesarean section and got the mirena iud as birth control i've had it for almost 2 month. and have been experiencing bleeding non stop no pain or anything just annoying bleeding is this cuz of my cesarean or cuz my iud?

The IUD: Mirena (levonorgestrel) is a progestin only method. As such, irregular bleeding is very common. For the first 3 to 6 months with Mirena (levonorgestrel)
• Your period may be less predictable than usual
• Bleeding and spotting may increase and continue to be irregular. Periods over time may become shorter, lighter or even stop
• Your periods may stop altogether for as long as you have Mirena (levonorgestrel)

Call your OB MD: You need to be certain that your OB MD has done a follow up exam post C section uterine infection. If the infection is cleared, the bleeding may be you period.

Can be normal: Bleeding after a C-section can last up to 6 weeks on average.  As long as you are not changing more than one pad an hour it is normal.  It should get lighter as the days progress.

: Vaginal bleeding does occur after a C section as the uterus sheds its lining as well as other debris left over from pregnancy. However since you stopped bleeding and then started bleeding bright red blood again I recommend you notify your obstetrician for advice. . Retained placental fragments can be a cause.

C section: Go to the er and see wkhy you are oozing and bleeding. It sounds like you may have an infection. Good luck.

am told i have fluid collecting and would dissolve.  one stitch opened  am bleeding ,is it a good sign  or not?

Concerned: Stitches from a surgery in July opening are concerning as they either should have reabsorbed or be removed. Bleedings so many month later at the surgical wound is certainly something that needs addressed promptly. Call your Obstetrician and if they are not available an urgent visit to your Emergency Room is warranted.

is it normal two have bleeding everyday pretty much 4mths after c section it gets light and then after using the bathroom a heavy bleed comes.?

Not  normal: It is not normal to have bleeding everyday pretty much 4 months after a cesarean delivery. This needs to be addressed by a professional.

i have only had around 3 weeks of non bleeding since 22nd august 2012 since a planned c-section, i have had an internal ultrsound which was clear?

See your doc: Depends if you are breastfeeding, are on contraception or have an iud. I think you should not accept bleeding for so long. You may get anemic or have a thyroid problem. Sometimes hormones help. If you are breastfeeding you can have some breaktroughbleeding due to a thin lining, so go back and ask for help.

if things go wrong durning my 4th c-section, can't i just tell the dr that after the baby is out to just give me a hysterectomy to stop the bleeding?

Sure: Thats ok but it would be even easier to have your tubes tied.
