Define "partial": What do you mean by a "partial" hysterectomy? This term, partial, has been mis-used and can be confusing.  If you mean that you had your uterus removed, but your cervix remains, that is more accurately termed a supra-cervical hysterectomy.  The cervix that is left behind may still have tissue in the canal that can bleed with your cycles.  The best way to find out is to have an exam to confirm.

Not normal: If you had a partial hysterectomy (uterus only removed and ovaries/tubes left in) 20 years ago and are now having vaginal bleeding, you need to have it investigated as this would not be expected to occur at this stage of life.  See your usual doctor to discuss.  If he/she is unable to assess, then request referral to an ob/gyn physician.

See doc.: Need to see a doc.  The source of vaginal bleeding is the uterus which was acting under control of the ovaries.  Apparently these are both gone so there should be no bleeding at all. Someone needs to take a close look to identify the source.

Not normal: #1 please see your gyn could be from atrophic vaginitis, and fistula developed, or rarely vagina cancer, u need evaluation to make nothing serious is going on.

Infection?: It could be due to infection of the vagina, thin / fragile vaginal lining or possibly an abnormal growth in vagina.  You need to see your OB/GYN for exam.
