Get evaluated: Cataract surgery involves the optics of the eye.  The retina is the part of the eye attacked in uncontrolled diabetes, with vascular dilation, edema and bleeding.  If you see black clouds you might have hemorrhage, or even a detachment of the retina.  You should see your ophthalmologist right away (not an optometrist).

Examination: You should first have an examination.  Possibilities would be vitreous debris ("floaters" opacities of the jelly in the eye), vitreous bleed (blood in the jelly of the eye due to diabetes), retinal edema (swelling of the retina due to diabetes).  See and ophthalmologist.

Yes: LASIK alters the corneal surface on the outside of the eye.  Cataracts occur on this inside and are mostly age related.  The presence or absence of LASIK has no influence on this so you could still get cataracts as you put on years.

Not sure: With the gap you described, it is hard to imagine the change in skin cokor is related to the cataract surgery.  There are other health conditions that can change pigmentation to the skin around your eyes.  Please discuss with your doctor.

Unlikely: This is almost certainly a change in the pattern of the vitreous gel in the back of your eye.  This is an aging process called vitreous syneresis.  Cataracts alter the vision by lowering the acuity and causing light glare, but they do not insert "lines" in the vision. If this worries you, see your ophthalmologist for confirmation.

i have a history of posterior uveitis right eye (5 years ago) and had a pvd in my right eye 6 years ago. cataract surgery 2 years ago. monday i noticed a new small black floater in addition to old floaters. no other eye symptoms
should i be seen?

Yes: it may be nothing significant but with your ocular history, you should have a dilated examination of the eye.

Easily treated : Cataracts come in all sizes.  They are easily treated by an opthalmologist. Help her reduce her worry. Very simple thing to have and to treat.  The opthalmologist will decide the best time and size when to treat it.

Cataracts: Cataracts are not reversible, but, if they are affecting your daily activities, they may be removed, and replaced with a clear implant to improve your vision.  Check with your local eye doctor to see if the cataract is mature or "ripe" for surgery...

Unusual : At your age, cataracts are very unusual, and caused by something, such as steroid use, chronic eye infection, genetic disease, etc.  You should have a full evaluation to sort out the cause!
