a freckle on my breast appeared 1.5 yrs ago. it was black & very round. just noticed its now brown & might have possibly changed shape very slightly. its remained flat. how likely is it melanoma? if it is, does flat mean it hasnt become invasive yet?

See MD now!: Trying to guess whether a "freckle" is malignant or not from a description rather than an examination is sheer "Tomfoolery". See a MD ASAP, preferably a Dermatologist who sees skin lesions frequently and can make that determination.

: It is difficult to tell you what it is unless it is seen. It is important to have somebody take a look at the spot and probably biopsy it to be certain about the nature of the spot. In view of the age it is important to not delay in having it evaluated, because the body immunity is not as strong as people get older.

i notice some very tiny black hair (hardly noticeable/dots) growing  in the middle of my breasts and some inner & lower parts of my breasts. problem?

Probably: COMPLETELY normal....If you remove such hairs  yourself they may grow back as coarser and blacker replacements..see a Dermatologist if you are concerned about the COSMETIC effects!

i'm seeing black heads all over breasts. please help?

Skin pores clogged: Blackheads on skin suggests clogged pores.  Breast skin tissue has pores that can collect skin oil and the pores can become enlarged with congealed oil that then collects skin dirt.  Hence, they get black.  Special cleansing is important with a safe skin astringent and with anti-bacterial soap.  Then keep the skin dry.

im having black patches under both my breasts for the last 6 months or so. some infection. please advise?

Fungal infection?: Fungi love dark, warm, moist areas of the body such as beneath breasts or in the groin area. See fp for scraping to be tested for fungus. Usually topical antifungal like Lamisil (terbinafine) along with keeping the area dry with talcum powder or antifungal spray will clear up the infxn. Need to treat for at least a week after outer skin appears clear as deeper layers may still be affected.

Moles or Keratoses: Women will develop moles and benign growths known as seborrheic keratoses commonly between the breasts, under the breasts and on the areolae. Depending on family history, these can start in your 20's and accumulate slowly over time. If any of them are very dark or irregular, they should be checked by a dermatologist.
