Could be infection: If this persists then you need to see your doctor or dentist. If there is an infection, sometimes it can cause a bitter taste in the mouth.

See below.: Wake up, brush teeth, get some fresh air. Drink some coffee, rehydrate and eat breakfast. May want to take an Aspirin or Acetaminophen for the ha.

Change in tastes.: It is not unusual for women to sense a change in either smell or taste when they become pregnant. I have heard this from other patients as well.

Multiple potentials: Intestinal infection, gastritis, or ulcers could certainly cause bitterness in the mouth and abdominal pains.   If this persists, I would consult with a doctor.

Yes.: If you had a spider bite and now symptoms getting worse especially with decreased urine output I would suggest you go back to ED for evaluation now.

Cold sores &amp; stress: Herpes simplex is divided into two types: hsv type 1 and hsv type 2. Both of these conditions can affect your mouth or your genitals, and can be spread via oral sex. There no cure for hsv infection and often stress is an aggravating factor. Cold sores generally clear up without treatment within 10-14 days.

Not necessarily.: Possible early pregnancy sxs: no period, breast swelling ; tenderness w darkened areolas, thin, white ; milky vaginal discharge, fatigue, ^ urination frequency, constipation, bloating, heartburn, backache, cramping, headache, food cravings or aversions, ^ sense of smell, enlarged waist, feeling faint/dizzy, mood swings, ^ gas, insomnia,  ^ gagging  ; yawning. They may begin after missed period.

Rest , Tylenol (acetaminophen): Most fever is viral and self limited but if abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding or burning with urination develop you must see your OB.

High acid in stomach: TUMS helps, Zantac or Pepcid helps. Avoid spicy food, tomato based products, caffeine, chocolate, alcohol, vinegar, citrus. These can all irritate. Prilosec, Nexium (esomeprazole) are most effective meds, but take longer to kick in

my father has hepatitis b and he is taking baraclude (entecavir) 5mg but he is feeling bitter taste in mouth and have a feeling of heavyness on stomach area! why?

Your father should speak w/his hepatologist/gastroenterologist about what to expect from his hepatitis b infection vs what to expect from his treatment, as well as signs/symptoms to report immediately.
