Too much: It is possible to overdose on certain vitamins by duplicating vitamin supplements.  A high quality prenatal vitamin should be all you need.

No: I don't know how that popular myth got started, but i know of no credible evidence that vitamin tablets do anything for hair or nails. Biotin (available in any health food store) does promote hair and nail growth (5000 units/day) if taken regularly.

Won't help unless...: Hard to say- maybe never! biotin deficiency can cause hair problems but if you are not deficient it may not help you. Many vitamins are needed for healthy hair, including b3, b5, b6, B12 ; a, c, d ; e. Zinc ; silica are also important, as are omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids. And vitamins are never a substitute for a healthy diet.

None likely but...: None of those are "likely" to cause unwanted hair growth but this is a reported infrequent side effect of Paxil (paroxetine) and is also a reported side effect of  Clonazepam. Biotin and Vit D should not cause this.

Not harmful: Also not useful. You are wasting your money. No vitamins do what you describe. Biotin is strictly a sucker game.

No: It is safe, but prenatal vitamins tend to have Folic Acid in them, which is the inferior form of folate. Better to take l-methylfolate instead of folic acid.
