The Pharmacy will provide detailed list of side effect

Yes: Biaxin (clarithromycin) is an antibiotic that is in a different class than amoxicillin. They kill different bacteria. So, it is possible that your doctor prescribed both to cover 2 types of bacteria

Just a few days: Antibiotics typically need to be used for 7=14 days to allow your body defenses to overcome an infection. They will typically stay in your system for a few days after completing treatment.  Always important to take the entire course of treatment prescribed to assure complete eradication of the infection and to prevent a resistant infection from developing.

can amoxicillin and clarithromycin cause weight loss ?

Unlikely: Antibiotics may have side-effects and these two may cause some mild GI symptoms such as nausea. If you're on these meds for a couple weeks, and you're nauseated - you might lose a little bit of weight. You might want to try some ginger tea to help with the nausea. If you have fevers with the weight loss, this needs urgent evaluation. GI doctors can help with the evaluation for weight loss.

No worries: Nope. These meds  would not interfere with his sperm production.

Plan: What's  the  pregnancy symptoms??  You need to do the pregnancy test, like urine test or blood work to be sure. Both antibiotics are save with pregnancy and with nexplanon. But you need to be sure about pregnancy.

is it ok to continue prevacid 30mg capsules while awaiting prevpac (lansoprazole amoxicillin and clarithromycin) prescription to be filled?

Yes: The Prevacid (lansoprazole) will be just one of the meds in the prevpak.  You will just be adding the antibiotics when you get the full pack.
