Pruritis ani?: Could you be referring to fissures, fistula, abscess? Sexually transmitted disease (syphilis, gc, hiv, etc.) should be considered. Hemorrhoids &amp; rectal prolapse can appear as an outward bulging. Anal trauma of any kind may cause mechanical injury. Skin eruptions need to be considered. Evaluation is recommended to distinguish serious versus less concerning reasons for your problem as described.

Take oral iron and multivitamins to prevent anemia from blood loss.

No: Those creams are strong enough, please don't self medicate, follow up with your doctor/dermatologist, eczema isn't just treated with topical treatment, other factors weigh in, skin care is important, triggers for exacerbations, diet, hydration and others. Potent local steriod creams can have the same deleterious effects if not used under doctor's supervision

Yes: You can use this steroid cream however there are other creams like anusol which help numb it or reduce it.  Ice packs help shrink them and make sure you are on a laxative to prevent constipation

There : There are several possibilities including psoriasis, eczema, lichen planus, and skin allergy.  I would recommend that you only use a gentle cleanser when cleaning your hands (like cerave or cetaphil), and use a moisturizer cream such as aquaphor, cetaphil, eucerin, or cetaphil cream twice daily.  If not better after a week or so, consider a trip to a dermatologist who can make an accurate diagnosis and formulate a good treatment plan for you.  You might need a steroid cream/ointment to clear this up. I hope that helps!

Chronic inflammation: Many different things can cause itching. The perianal skin is especially sensitive.  Common causes of itchiness include aggressive cleaning of the perianal skin, dairy products, caffeine containing foods and certain fruits.  The common diagnosis is pruritis ani.  Some diseases such as lichen sclerosis can also cause itching. Biopsies help determine if there is an underlying cause of the itching.

Sometimes we need to concede that no cure exists, then settle for the best control. You will need to be specific about all creams or other treatments
