Many options.: There are many options for moisturizing your skin.  I like to have my patients use coconut oil as a moisturizer.  It usually works great and is usually not irritating the the skin or eye.  good luck!

Cetaphil: The product line includes gentle cleansers and moisturizers, and is widely available.  More importantly look into the cause of the perioral dermatitis. Avoid whitening toothpastes and dental products. Steroids- including topical, nasal and oral inhalors- can also cause this condition.  See link:

Meds: Many patients do well with over the counter benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid preparations. Some patients require topical or oral antibiotics or retinoids as well. If the over the counter meds alone don't control your acne after a month of daily use, see a doctor for additional treatment options. It is important to be persistent, and some patients 'get worse before they get better'.

: Any face moisturizing cream will do. They all have similar ingredients like aloe Vera, glycerin etc. Yes put it on at night and stop using any other facial makeup till better.

Trigger: Are you taking hot showers? Rosacea can be triggered by extremes of temperature.  It will be helpful to identify the triggers of flushing (e.g. Sunlight, exercise, alcohol), and avoid them.  Use gentle skin cleanser ; moisturizer.  Avoid applying harsh, irritating products on your skin.  It's also recommended to apply sunscreen.  If you're continually having problems, it's best to see your doctor.
