Wash your hands after applying. You may not be able to read while wearing it.  For short trips, over-the-counter Meclizine works well.  Some people swear by candied ginger or wrist bands.  If you feel sick, get fresh air and look at the horizon.

Milk, cheese, fried foods take longer to process & more associated with problems. Dramamine (dimenhydrinate) chewable is a otc product that can be given @ 25-50mg every 6-8h.

Motion Sickness: Dear miserable with motion. Here are a couple of ideas. The first is to take ginger. Ginger ale, ginger tea, ginger cooked into food or crystallized ginger. The second is ear acupuncture.  Unlike some motion sickness medications - these options don't cause sedation or interact with other medications. Good luck.

Ginger: This is not an official medical recommendation because it hasn't been scientifically proven but one common folk remedy is to consume very small quantities of ginger - either extract or the raw root. It settles the stomach. You may still feel dizzy though.

Combination therapy (nausea + dizzy meds) are very helpful.
