Eardrum: need to see ENT for microscopic ear exam. cleaning. May need to use topical ear drops and continue oral ABx. No smoking. Keep ear dry. May need surgery if hole does not close

Inner ear infection: The inner ear has 2 primary functions:  hearing and balance.  With an inner ear infection, you could have problems with hearing or balance or both.  Sometimes, inner ear  infection can extend to the cerebrospinal fluid and you can develop symptoms of meningitis.  This could cause neck stiffness, sensitivity to light or sound, headache.  Other general signs of infection include fevers and chills.

Otitis media: If acute, antibiotics and pain meds, if unrelieved needs myringotomy to let out pus. 
If chronic, you may need tubes, if mastoid infection is present may need mastoidectomy.

Ear infection: There are 3 types of ear infections. The canal (otitis external, or swimmers ear, the are behind the drum (otitis media, the usual middle ear infection. Inner ear infection is unusual. I think you probably mean the middle ear infection. How long to get one? Or get better? Both vary, but usually it takes about 2 days of antibiotics to feel better, and finishing the Rx, to completely cure.

Clarify: Inner ear infections are rare and would involve the hearing and balance part of the ear with resultant deafness and severe vertigo.  Rarely middle ear infection which is usually painful can spread to inner ear. Otitis media may not have pain and only manifest with fluid behind drum.This fluid usually clears but if there is still hearing loss after 1-2 months then see ENT especially if only 1 ear.
