Beano is an enzyme: Nothing but it may not work as well since beano is an enzyme to help digest and it wont have as much time to process the food you eat.

Unlikely: Gas is from (1) air/carbonation we swallow, (2)  inability to break down foods, or (3) production by bacteria.  (1)  charcoal or devrom; no soda.  (2) eliminate (1@ time for 1 week) wheat, dairy, eggs, beans, oats, barley ... No it is not: Beano is not a Probiotic.  Beano is an enzyme.  A probiotic is either a bacteria or yeast.  
An enzyme is a protein, a protein is like a machine in cells.  Beano is an enzyme that breaks sugars down to simple sugars that your body can absorb more easily.  A bacteria can also break down food into something that body can absorb more easily.

Not: Sure.  Beano is dietary supplement not FDA regulated.  Reviews are mixed. If you respond well to that it may be okay

Not at all: People can't fully digest beans because our bodies do not make enzymes that break down certain starches in beans. The bacteria in our intestines then break down the starches & produce gas. Beano provides enzymes that help to break the starches down, thus reducing gas. I know of no harm from taking beano regularly. An alternative is to sprout beans, which also improves digestibility of the starches.

Check the package: Look at the directions to see if it says to take prior to each meal or every so many hours.

I checked quite a: Few sites ; the only side effect  that was noted was rare sensitivity.  Beano has 150 galu (galactosidase units) of alpha-d-galactosidase derived from aspergillus niger mold.

Accepted Answer

Unsure: No studies performed per beano website on safety of beano in pregnancy.  States to "ask your doctor".  I could not find the ingredients.  States made for natural ingredients.  Simethicone in other anti-gas meds is a category c.  I can only reiterate, "ask your doctor" and check other alternatives for your gas.  Maybe a diet change would be all that is needed.

Yes: If you have become a vegan for moral reasons, then i admire your choice. I trust you know that unless you know exactly how to supplement, you will ruin your health quickly.
