i had a mild allergic reaction to fexofenadine a couple of weeks ago. it interacted with risperidone. face tingling. im having that same issue with omega 3 fish oil. i take sertraline and a low dose aspirin. is one of those medications interacting?

: It is possible but we need to now every thing you are taking including vitamins and other OTC stuff.

Go to Drugs.com and enter all of the stuff you are taking into their interaction checker. That is what I do when I am seeing a patient. Easy to do.

Fish oil: You could take fish oil with Aspirin and Prinivil (lisinopril) if nothing else is going on with you to contraindicate fish oil.

Good but...: They are good but maybe not enough.A good lifestyle is even better specially a regular exercise routine for primary prevention. You need to discuss with your doctor how important it is to take a statin as the benefit of this drug depends on your risk profile. There is a simple calculation for that

I would not: Aspirin is an antiplatelet agent and for many of us is the treatment for blood clot prevention with your condition, As long as there’s no content Acacian to taking the aspirin.

Aspirin: Aspirin has been shown in multiple studies to be effective in the treatmeant of heart attack and stroke. No such studies exist fir garlic.

Why?: You are 38 and pregnant. It is unlikely that you have heart disease. There is no data for Aspirin for primary prevention (before you have heart disease) only for secondary prevention (after your first heart attack or stent). There is less data for fish oil. I would avoid taking anything shaped like a pill during pregnancy beyond a prenatal vitamin without a compelling reason.

In pills: These have different effects.  The fish oil presumably helps with the circulation and health of the heart.  The baby aspirin is just to prevent easy blood clotting and can aid in preventing strokes.  Fish oil comes in a capsule and you can get baby aspirin (81 mg) in an enteric for which minimizes stomach irritation.

just fish oil: You will do well with fish oil or just take a tablespoonful of olive oil daily.

Potentially the fish: oil could result in loose stools and intravascular volume depletion with resultant orthostatic hypotension however seeing that you are taking medications for Parkinson's it is MUCH MORE LIKELY to be due to the Parkinson's than anything else you are taking or doing. Wear good quality thigh high support stockings and see if that helps. Florinef (fludrocortisone) or Midodrine could potentially be helpful too.

No surprize: So you irritated your face. It will heal in a few days. Do not expect this to help acne. It won't. If you want help for acne, see a dermatologist.
