Too early: This could be vaginal yeast, but it is a little to early to be related to the antibiotics.  It may have existed prior to the "infection" or may have been your primary infection.  Hard to tell.

Anything that flushes external material into the vagina, such as douching, could lead to a bacterial infection as well.

Absolutely: Anytime you shave you cause micro-cuts in the skin (sometimes large cuts).  This breaks down your bodies first defense against infection.  Additionally the razor I am sure had bacteria on it which you may have introduced directly into the skin.

Lactobacillus: Lactobacillus acidophilus can be used as a vaginal suppository. The capsules containing 10 million to 1 billion colony-forming units should be used. The capsule is inserted vaginally one to two times per day. The suppositories introduce the lactobacillus acidophilus directly into the vaginal canal, increasing the "good" bacteria, and changing the ph of the vagina.
