Probably viral but..: Individuals with sore throat are more likely to have a viral etiology, especially if sore throat is associated with cough, runny nose, sneezing, or eye discharge.  The only way to be sure is to get strep test.  I would suggest try throat lozenze such as sucret until you see your primary care provider.

See answer: You can have sex after taking the full course, but be cautious that the bacterial infection was not caused by your partner infecting you, as you do not want to keep getting the same infection if your partenr is infected.  Depending on what infection you had, he may need to be treated too.

Also subjects can deevop an infection from resistant organisms, in which case the "usual" antibiotics will be ineffective requiring  more potent antibiotics.

Monitor: sometimes it takes a few weeks after an infection to have no discomfort  It sometimes is still swollen and takes time to heal.  Sometimes an anti inflammatory can help There are cases were it is a permanent or chronic discomfort  If worse or lasts a moth or so then see provider for additional testing

Depends: First of all establish diagnosis is important . Three bacteria, is this culture proven? Mostly surface culture may be contaminant . If there is ulcer may be take time to heal . If it is blister than consider hsv2. May need to be seen by infectious disease physician
