Back pain and EtOH: Not any real association that i can think of. Only rare association is with certain lymphomas. That would be a stretch, and i don't think you need to worry. Otherwise, your "back" pain may actually be related to inflammation internally—abdominal contents/organs that may be the true source of symptoms. I think this is more likely.

Abdomen pain: If all those tests are normal and you are not having any GI symptoms like vomiting, this is probably a muscular pain from the awkward trampoline landing.  Please consider moderating alcohol intake and definitely don't drink when you are having abnormal symptoms.

Abstain: Sorry, but the clear answer to this question is simple. Don't drink in excess.  Better yet, don't drink alcohol.  The health benefits are minimal, and the risks go far beyond head, neck, and back pain.  Just like mom used to say, "if it hurts when you do that, then don't do that.".

Don't know why, but: I bet you are smart enough to figure out that until you know how to fix whatever is wrong, the right choice is to not drink alcohol. Right? If you suffer fro fibromyalga, I guess this might be related. Who knows? Ask your provider - but, again - don't drink. If it's a rare thing anyway, that should be reasonably easy. So, find other ways to have fun and avoid the pain. Best!

Wow: If  your  back  pain  is  only  when  you  drink   alcohol   ,  better  cut  iit  out  and  give  a  chance  to  heal  the  hurt  back  at  least  for  6--8  weeks  and  if  after  that  you  want  to  drink  ,  limit  to  one  drink , week   may  be  with  too  many  drinks  your  body  movements  are  too  much  and  out  of  control.

mam has a 10mg release morphine patch for a back pain. she is extremely tired all the time. should the dose be reduced. never  drink alcohol.

Morphine patch: At her age - yes definitely reduce the dose if she is too tired all the time. Patches are usually slow release and probably this doe is too strong for her.

No: While many people use etoh to help relieve anxiety and/or pain- it is not a good idea to try to fix something you don't understand. In your case, i would see your doctor to get labs and check your health.

does magnesium level in the body fluctuate all throughout the day? my magnesium was one point under the low end of the range due to drinking alcohol and poor diet. can eating the right foods get it back in normal range?

: Magnesium fluxes in and out of cells and bones and may have to have better evaluation to determine if total body amount is okay, rather than depending on the value in the blood alone. Eating right and eating food with high magnesium content should help and there is also the option of taking tablets for quick corrrection when it is very low. Alcohol is empty calories that is bad for brain and liver
