why do shudder attacks happen? if a infant gets it will they have tremors too? if a 10month old gets it will it go away? or cause life long issues?

Benign: Shudder attacks are benign and mean nothing. They usually disappear spontaneously in a few years. There is no life long issues and they do not turn into seizures. See your Pediatrician, if the diagnosis is confirmed, you have nothing to worry about. It will get better by itself.

Ask prescriber: Prolonged use of Reglan (metoclopramide) to speed up gastric emptying has risks . Mild side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, headache hypertension and restlessness, dangerous side effete include decrease in white blood cells, heart arrhythmia, adrenal disorder, several neurologic syndromes.Some pediatricians have been trying Erythromycin as a agent to speed up gastric emptying. Zantac is widely used.

While mild episodes of anxiety are common and do not usually require treatment, more severe forms can be chronic and debilitating. Symptoms of severe anxiety: insomnia, sweating, palpitations, tremors, and fatigue. See you pcp for the referral.

Some times : yes I am presuming you are using a alpha agonist agent like albuterol and this can cause some of the effects. Suggest speak to your long doc and get dose adjusted. If you are not using albuterol then need work up. How this helps.

Can cause physical S: Anxiety can cause physical symptoms.  If all physical causes have been ruled out by cardiology, neurology and your primary care, it may be time for a psych consult.  Evaluating the mind-body issues may prove very helpful in addressing these symptoms.

Serious sign: Lightheadedness on mild physical exertion is a serious sign.  See your family physician, perhaps also a cardiologist.  Echocardiogram (in addition to a 12- lead ekg) is indicated.  Your cardiologist may also consider a stress test, if everything else is normal.  Never exercise if you are dehydrated.

i have been on 30 mg celexa (citalopram) for 2 weeks and i experience body inside tremors. i never had them before. is it normal and will they go away? thanks
