If in labor...: Sounds like a baby is on the way. The team "on the ground" will call the shots. Hopefully, all is well and everyone is relaxed... the wife, the husband, and the medical team. Recommend no other relatives, as the more people around a newborn, the more likely the baby catches a cold, the flu, or some other infection. Healthy grandparents are ok. Others can visit at age 3 months or older. Good Luck!

It depends...: I'm sorry it's taken time to get an answer; this isn't a good forum for emergencies.
It may have been an allergic reaction or food poisoning but doesn't sound like it warranted going to the hospital unless you had swelling in your throat or trouble breathing.I'd have advised Vit. C (1000 mg every 2-3 hours),1/2 tsp of baking soda in water and homeopathic Nux vomica 30c but should clear on its own.

0-3m awake 85-205, asleep 80-160; 3m-2yr awake 100-190 & asleep 60-140.
