Well: Your doctor could use a cervical ripening agent or at least attempt labor induction.  You may want to ask if your doctor thinks your pelvis is too small for your baby though

if my baby's head is 'low in my pelvis' can this make the features such as nose appear very flat and wide on ultrasound? or will this be her nose?

Normal: wide flat  noses are normal in unborn babies.

both babies are head down at 24 weeks. i have a lot of pelvic pressure and cramping at times but cervix is long and closed. this is the first time theyve been head down. is my risk for pre-term labor increased now that theyre head down?

: Discuss your symptoms and findings with the Labor and Delivery nurse and your OB specialist. The dilatation of the cervix is one way to assess risk of delivery. Please follow up and stay positive.

Cysts: cysts this size warrant a consultation with a gynecologist.  While they may very well be benign tumors, cancer must be ruled out as well.

Probably not: It sounds like a skin tag or a part of your hymenal ring.  It can be irritating but will not prevent you from getting pregnant.

Normal: It can be normal to have a skin tag near the urethra. If there are no other symptoms then show it to his pediatrician during the next visit.

Could be: If you are in the last trimester or last month and you have "dropped" and the pressure is increased, then yes the babys head could be engaging....Ask your OB at your net visit. They should be weekly if you are nearing term.

Pregnancy: It can be normal to feel some discomfort when the baby moves due to his/her size. But just to be sure everything is ok, you should visit your OBGYN to get a physical exam. In case you have pain that does not go away, bleeding or any other symptoms remember to go to the ER.

Not always: But the head needs to move down at some point, your circumstances may be better served by csection, if baby is too large, for example. Discuss with your doctor to be sure the best plan is considered.

i'm a ftm . 35 weeks pregnant .baby's head down but still didn't engage in the pelvis..does that mean i have at least more than 2 weeks to deliver ?

Few more weeks: Most babies drop or engage after 37 weeks of pregnancy. However, I have seen some who drop right before labor. So, please do not worry.
