No problem: The antibiotics would not be a concern.  If you did conceive the antibiotics would not affect the pregnancy.

Azithromycin : has a half life of almost 4 days, so once u take one dose, it will be in your system for at least that long. With adverse reactions to drugs (allergies), these can occur at any time during therapy-- Once your body realizes "hey I don't like this stuff". The good news is azithromycin rarely causes serious side effects, so hopefully u are doing OK...

Azithromycin Dose: It should not be a problem.    Sometimes higher doses are given, so he should be fine.

Strep throat: Symptomatology improves within a day or so.  The major reason to treat strep throats has always been to prevent rheumatic fever which is unusual now probably more later to the low amount of circulation of specific rheumatogenic serotypes than early treatment.

Clamidia: If that is all that tested positive the sxs should resolve in r to seven days if it was treated promptly. It can also cause urethral strictures.

Rectal chlamydia: In animals, azithromycin works less well against chlamydia in the gastrointestinal tract than in the genital tract. It is likely the same in humans, explaining the higher rate of treatment failure for rectal than genital infection. The biological reason is unknown. This appears to not be a problem with doxycycline, which works equally well for rectal and genital chlamydia.

Imbalance: It's an imbalance in the normal bacterial flora. You need to take probiotics, like eating yogurt, to replenish the normal bacteria.

Yes: Yes. That is adequate treatment. Make sure your partner was also treated. It is possible for this STD to be "bounced" back in forth if only one partner is treated. Also, you may want to be tested for other STDs. Make sure to wear condoms if you are uncertain of your partner's status.

is azythromycin like penicillin?

No: It is a completely different class of antibiotics.  Azithromycin is a macrolide.  So if you're allergic to penicillins only, you can take azithromycin.
