Depends on cause: Zithromax (azithromycin) is an antibiotic and usually gets rid of Chlamydia germs, but sometimes a second course of treatment is needed. A person's symptoms, if related to Chlamydia, is likely due to the inflammation (damage from the germ and from his body's battling the germ). After the germs are dead, his body still needs to heal up. If symptoms persist, his doctor will look for the reason why.

Individual: if the doxycycline hasn't sensitized your skin from general use, then careful and persistent use of sunscreen should work just fine. 
if concerned check with your about another med fpr your condition

Effexor: no reported photosensitivity (sun sensitivity), with it. Takes time to develop tolerance to the side effects, if that's not happening or symptoms worsen, you may want to call or see your doctor for dose adjustment or finding an alternative, good luck

Sunscreen!: Birth control can definitely cause sun sensitivity. The best thing you can do to counteract that is to wear sunscreen with spf of at least 30, and wear sunglasses, hats, clothing to keep you you covered.

Frequently: Placquenil causes sun sensitivity frequently and enough to take reasonable precautions such as sun screen SPF 50 or better, hats and sunglasses.

Tindiazole: The drug is not known to be sun sensitive but one can develop rashes that appear similar to sun sensitivity such as steven johnson syndrome.

Not really: Doxycycline as generally all tetracyclines are fairly well tolerated in patients with long term use. I have patients who've taken them over a long period of time without major side effects.
