About 7 days: According to the CDC usually you can spread flu about 7 days after you start experiencing symptoms.  Longer if you are a child.  The CDC does not give the number of day after resolving from the flu.  So I would say that if you no longer have the flu and it has been 7 days since the start of the symptoms, you are likely no longer contagious.

Hard to guess: Nobody really knows when one person stops being contagious with influenza (with or without Tamiflu treatment). One week out from the start of the illness (one can count from the first day of fever, aches, or cough) is safe, unless a person had a more severe illness or still has a lot of cough. In a more severe case, one can wait longer, such as until 3 days after no fever nor excessive cough.

Until without symtom: If he is coughing, sneezing, if you are kissing him or exchanging other body fluids he may be contagious.  Would strongly recommend getting influenza vaccine, whether or not it is likely to help with this immediate exposure.  The other issue is how you know he has influenza.  These symptoms can be caused by a variety of  viruses.  If you begin symptoms, get tested, start tamiflu, (oseltamivir)  other antiviral.

Yes: After having 24 hours of cold or flu symptoms, a person is still quite contagious. It is hard to tell when a person is not contagious, because that varies from case to case, and because the viruses decrease over a few days (they don't all die at exactly one moment in time). The safer thing to do is to avoid spreading viruses by touching others, or by sneezing or coughing on others, for a week.
