Hello. : Hello.   Areolas often become stretched out during pregnancy or breast feeding.  Even without pregnancy, the areola is subject to changes over time.  Things which can impact the areola include hormonal changes, birth control pills, aging,  and some medications.  However, if your skin is puckering inward or an underlying mass is palpated, that needs to be evaluated expeditiously.

Tough question: Most important thing is to make sure you get proper follow up regarding those mirocalcifications.   I think at some point you may end up having a stereotactic biopsy so that a pathologist can look at what's causing those microcalcs. Concerning areola shape/color fading, I would guess that wight gain, hormonal changes and pregnancy would be the things that could cause the diameter to increase.
