No: Red skin is from rosacea usually.  Using gentle products, topical Metrogel or using a skin rejuvenation laser can help.  Decreasing your alcohol, caffeine intake and eating plant based can improve inflammation which helps the skin.

No, they are ok: The nutritional value of a potato is actually greater when it is eaten raw. It contains vitamin C, B6 and niacin.  Curiously, raw potatoes are known as a food craved by pregnant woman. Be very careful to wash the potato carefully. Good luck with the nausea (and the twins!)

Not really: You may have a reaction to the smell such as nausea or allergic type symptoms such as a runny nose.  It is highly unlikely that you would catch any type of infection or mold just from smelling a rotten vegetable.

First Degree Burn: If you are seeing red skin but no blister this is going to be a first degree burn.  I would just put a dab of neosporin on it tonight and take a look at it in the morning. Babies can move fast!   Take this opportunity to start thinking about safeproofing the house and plan to have it complete by babies first birthday!  Splash burns are common as they start to toddle! She will be fine!

can food intolerance cause a rash all over with a puffy eyes and red face? i was told that it isnt an allergy unless it starts immediately. my 2 year old is gtube fed and is on a new formula with turkey, peaches, green beans, and sweet potatoes?

: stop the new formula and your peds. see the child. Ped allergiy symptoms can be very different from adult's. Good luck

Bake: Baked potato is the healthiest way to prepare them. You can also microwave a potato in the oven for 4-5 minutes depending on the size of the potato. I dont recommend frying in oil or adding sour creme or butter.

Be a Pirate: Try pirate's booty.  Low cal, no trans fats, and it tastes good.  There are better alternatives than these but this may not be a bad place to start:).

what's a healthy french fry substitute recipe for baked sweet potatoes fries?

Recipe...: This is my first health tap recipe..  Cut the sweet potatoes the size of french fries. (the thinned you cut them, . The faster they cook.)  put them in a plastic bag with some olive oil and shake to coat them.  (you can use a bowl if you wish.)  bake in a 400 degree oven until done. Season to taste and enjoy.
