Propane / kerosene or any fuel heater must be used in a well ventilated space or with a proper exhaust system.  Early signs of CO poisoning are headaches, nausea, irritability and confusion.  Even low doses can do permanent brain injury.

Uncertain:  There are references to a "propane enema"  in pretty vile book called "Matchbook".  However, outside of that, despite trying to research this, I am unable to find anything about literal propane enemas. I am not sure that it is an actual thing.

There's a lot of: issues with this. There has to be enough ventilation, the production of carbon monoxide needs to be checked. A lot of people have reactive lungs to the fumes and that's damaging even with the nebulizer
