Massaging: Afterapplication of oil when you massage  your scalp, the friction through fingers and heat created thereby cause the hot feeling in addition to dilatation of the blood vessels by the warmth you create by after application and massaging. The scalp is very rich in blood supply and the massaging of scalp is good for hair strenght by improving over all vascularity if oil is applied in moderation.

Vapors: The oil itself or an additiive in the oil produces vapors when you apply it and the vapors irritate your nasal mucus membrane.  You may be allergic to to the oil or the additive.

Most people: Go for every day, along with a shower.  I would not apply oil, depends on what effect u r trying to create.  What do you want from your hair?

Accepted Answer

Not studied: Don't believe that this issue has been studied. The rule of thumb on applying medicated cream or lotion is  to wait 30 minutes in-between. In your case, minoxidil first ,then oil after 30 minutes. However if this does not work, you will have to space the time longer until it works for you.

when i apply oil on my hair , after two days some thing like tumor shown on my rt side bottom neck.doc says its cervical effect. what's this?

It sounds more : Like swollen gland , which is normal. We have a lot of lymph glands in our body. They swell up to fight infection or reacting to something . They normally are self limiting unless the glands are infected , you will need antibiotics for that . If it get worst, tender to touch, having fever, you need to see your doctor.

Shampoo less : Frequently & use moroccan argan oil. If it persists & you have other symptoms like sluggishness or weight gain, see your doctor& maybe get thyroid functions tested.

Dry skin: Perhaps it's dry skin so try a lotion with urea in it and use it daily after bathing

Depends.: Sometimes a thyroid problem or other medical conditions cause hair loss.  Please see a doc and get a good examination and the appropriate blood tests, to be sure there is no physical reason for your hair loss.  Good luck!

ALOPECIA AREATA: Hair loss can occur during stress  and can regrow after several months. Dermatologist sometimes  puts steroids on the area.

Shiny hair : Of course you want to eat healthy and stay active for your overall health!  Curly hair does require special care and will be at its best with regular cuts to eliminate split ends, minimal blow drying ( no more than 2x per week).
