For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Anti-fungal: Ok...Some basics.  Ringworm is fungus.  Oral Fluconazole is a cheap effective way to eliminate the infection.  Re-infection is not uncommon.  Antibiotics will not cure this...And in fact may worsen it by further due colonizing your skin of bacteria.  If your primary is in doubt....Have him send you to an infectious disease or dermatologist.  A KOH prep will confirm the diagnosis.

my pediatrician diagnosed impetigo but now looks like ringworm after being on antibiotics for a week.  what should i do?

Recheck: Impetigo is a bacterial infection treated with antibiotics, while ringworm is a fungal skin infection which would not improve with antibiotics.  If the eruption has not resolved with antibiotics, see your pediatrician so a skin culture for fungus can be done.  Regardless, avoid putting Hydrocortisone or other topical steroid on it until the true diagnosis is known.

Possible athletes  : If athletes foot is present the medication the pharmacist recommended should work. Can take up to a month of applying the medication daily. If no response in two weeks seek another medical opinion.

It may well be: It may have been ringworm all along the impetiginized, or you may have a second eruption. You can try over-the-counter ringworm Rx and/or get seen again

If it is actually: ringworm - than an antibiotic would not fix it. Ringworm is a fungal infection. You may wish to have this evaluated to insure that diagnosis is accurate.

i have ringworm on the right side of my vagina. been treating it for 3 weeks with cream and antibiotics. the last 2 days it got really hard and painful. it hurts to walk or have anything touch it. does this mean its infected and if so what kind or procedu

Antibiotics kill : Bacteria. Ringworm is a fungus so you would want to preferably use an antifungal agent. Fungus is typically not painful. It may be itchy but not painful...perhaps you should get a diagnosis from a doctor????
