Contraception: There seems to be a lot of evidence that antibiotics interfere with the effectiveness of oral contraceptives  (but not depo). There are no symptoms that the contraceptive function is compromised. A good idea would be to use barrier-type contraceptives (condom/diaphragm) during the month in which you are taking antibiotics. Resume regular contraceptive methods the following month.

BCP ?'s: Although there are specific antibiotics which can diminish the effectiveness of oral bcp's, if there is no withdrawal bleeding during the active pill series, it is unlikely that protection from pregnancy will be affected.  Competitive absorption of oral bcp's from antibiotics would possibly diminish the active pills presence in the blood stream, so no withdrawal bleeding indicates effectiveness.

Yes: Absolutely yes. Although I am unclear as to why you are on antibiotics?  Birth control is effective at preventing pregnancy but is not 100% effective.  Some contraceptives provide  better protection against conception than others.  Even when you are on birth control there is still a small risk of becoming pregnant.  It always helps for your partner to use an additional barrier such as a condom.

That coupled with the pull-out method, means almost no chance of pregnancy. However, life can be full of surprises. That means any fertile woman having sex must be already prepared to get married, settle down, and raise a family, in the event of a surprise pregnancy.
