Almost worthless: These are usually pressure related over areas that have diminished sensation and blood supply. When they become secondarily infected they will respond only to a combo of surgical debridement and systemic antibiotics. Unfortunately they often lead to amputation.

I would try : And dry them out. Alternatively, if you are going to use cream try something with lidocaine in it, the anesthetic should get rid of itching. I prefer the usage of creams though when not walking, like sleeping.
