Body odor: Underarm odor is caused by bacteria in the skin. To minimize profuse sweating, you not only have to use deodorant but also an antiperspirant (look for ammonium or aluminum) in the deodorant. If that fails, you can use drysol or Botox injections.

Soap and water: Frequent daily good showers  or  bath , clean well washed .Cloths are the best inexpensive deodorants , next is what ever you like to buy

Yes: Unless it is one of the very few prescription forms, then yes, there is nothing preventing you from using a man's deodorant (...or a man using woman's deodorant, for that matter).

Antibacterials: Deodorants are just perfumes sometimes with mild antibacterial agents such as alcohol, trichlosan or chelated metal compounds.  It is the bacteria decomposing the sweat that causes odor.  Anti perspirants are a different animal - they stop sweating by blocking sweat glands.

Wrong question.: Everything is chemicals, including you and me.  A better question is: "what kind of deodorant is least harmful to my body?"  crystal and stone deodorants, made with mineral salts like potassium alum, are available, but it's unclear whether or not they actually work. There is also no good evidence that conventional deodorants do any harm.  There is, however, no reason not to try the natural ones.

Differences: Antiperspirants contain aluminum which prevents sweat from occurring. With deo derant sweating occurs but chemicals combine with sweat to kill bacteria present.
