my child had a colorectal polyp removal surgery by laser, however about 10 days later now there was a droplet in his stool once. should i be worried about this? he is also facing immense itching in anus area, it seems red and inflamed, why so?

: Bright red blood on the surface of stool comes from near the outlet, usually from an internal scratch or fissure. These follow bulky/hard or dry stools. Darkened stool comes from higher up where enzymes have been active. Anal itching at that age can be from many things including food allergies, fungal infections, bacterial infections or just habit. Pinworms are rare at that age.

See details: It really depends on the location of the polyp. If the polyp was located away from the anal opening it should be safe to resume sex within a few days. If the polyp could be directly irritated by any insertion then I would suggest one wait 2-3 weeks for more complete healing.

Yes, it: Should be fine but you may experience some spotting, i would give it another day and you may can avoid this.  You may want to refer this to the doc that removed it, however.

Fever: Within one week. After the first 2-3 days of the procedure, the risk is miniscule, if any.

Yes it is.: Your doctor should have informed you that mild vaginal bleeding is normal after such procedures. In the absence of fever and large blood clots per vaginam, you should be fine and able to wati until your pathology review appointment in 2 weeks.

i experienced a strong burning sensation that lasted  for a few hours after polyp removal. it still hurts to sit down. is this common?

It depends where was: the polyp. If it was inside your colon there should be no pain.  If this was on the outside, sometimes more accurately called a skin tag, that could be sore for some time afterward.  If it is 48 to 72 hours after the removal and you are still significantly sore, you should call and discuss with the person who removed the polyp.

i had dnc's in '04, '08, '12 for polyp removal. symptoms again. is another dnc the answer? should i get a second opinion?  an i at risk for adhesions?

No: It is not odd to have several polyps removed at the time of a colonoscopy. The intent is to remove all polyps found unless you happen to have familial polyposis in which case there may be thousands of polyps and obviously they can't all be removed.

i had a septoplasty and nose polyp removal. i don't seem to feel any benefits. is this typical? i honestly feel worse now than before.

See your specialist: Make sure you are doing everything your doctor told you to do. Make an appointment with the surgeon to discuss your symptoms and to get an exam.  You may have some swelling in there.

Depends: If you have a nasal polyp on one side - yes it should be removed to make sure it is nothing more serious. Polyps almost always affect both nasal/sinus cavities. If it is seen on only one side - it should be biopsied (or removed). Polyps do not "need to be removed." indications for removal would be 1) if having surgery for chronic sinusitis 2) breathing difficulty 3) trouble smelling.
