i took hiv 4th gen test at 4,5 &7 weeks , result negative, i was on a medicine not prep, medicine composition - alpha lipoic acid, selenium, zinc sulphate. will it impact the hiv test result, thigh pain since 3-4 weeks, can this be a symptom?pls help?

: There are no medications, treatments, vitamins, supplements, or anything else that have any effect on HIV test timing or reliability. Any statements to the contrary are false or urban myths. You do not have HIV; don't worry about it. Look for other causes for your thigh pain.

Analysis: Why do you take all these items?.  Where did you find such advice?  Glutathione is a wonderful anti-oxidant, but does NOT cross into the brain, so of questionable value in bloodstream.  Milk thistle extract has questionable benefit in most cases.  Alpha lipoic useful in peripheral and central nerve disorders.  You are far better off using mixed tocopherols, especially with gamma. The blood: lowering effects are very minimal and will not lead to hypoglycemia in an otherwise normal individual. However, they won't help any known medical problem and are a waste of money. Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or internet scams.

Milk thistle should: help, and not make it worse, and it's effects should be cleared within a day. See doctor if energy level is crashing. This is not normal, when you had great energy before.
