Adverse Drug Reactio: Your doctor should be able to tell you which medication caused the adverse reaction. You should not take that medication again. The adverse reaction could be worse the second time you take the drug.

Same thing: It's the same thing - just two different terms. Some side effects could be beneficial and so not an "adverse" reaction but the terms refer to the same effect - unintended consequences (good or bad) of a therapy.

Hives: Stay off of pills for a few days. Record the hives you are getting without the pills by taking pictures. Restart the pills and compare photos . That way you may be able to distinguish the various types of hives.

See a dermatologist: Chronic urticaria (hives every day for longer than 6 weeks) is usually not an allergy but can be worse if you take nsaids or aspirin. You should also avoid alcohol. Use something else. You can be treated for hives. Cetirizine otc is not expensive & may be used at 2 or 3 a day unless it makes you sleepy.

Colonoscopy : BP drops with colonoscopy are not unusual. The neuroleptanalgesia used can easily cause BP drops.
