Use soap: Old fashioned soap is a perfectly good alternative.   Try something with low allergens such as cetaphil.   Dove is another good option.

when i use soup or hand sanitizer or even moisturizing soup, my hands get very dry. it is very uncomforatble.  could i be allergic? is this normal?

Dry Hands: If skin dryness is only side effect it is unlikely an allergy. Using soaps and sanitizer frequently throughout the day can be very irritating to hands so limiting hand washing can help. Moisturize your hands frequently throughout the day with fragrant-free product. Also can try Aquaphor application on hands at night covered by cotton gloves to seal in moisture. Use gloves when washing dishes.

im allergic to seafood. my friend had fish last night and then used my hand sanitizer. hours later i used that same hand sanitizer and then ate my food. did i pick up the allergens off the bottle when i grabbed it to use it?

: If you think you contacted the allergen you would know it very soon after contact. The allergen dried up by then, so don't worry, as long as you had no skin to skin contact, you should be fine.

Maybe/not: Upper respiratory viruses including a cold can be passed in both contact to the germ on surfaces &amp; airborne droplets. Hand washing is a bit more successful in removing germs than sanitizers but they can cut down exposure risk. Some cultures routinely ware mouth/nose covering asks to reduce airborne virus risk when in public. I doubt this will catch on here.

Yes: You could also die from drinking too much water.But the toxic material and ethyl alcohol in hand sanitizer would kill you sooner.The physical pain and discomfort for both would make it a gross and truly undesirable event.

Yes: Hospitals that have instituted hand washing protocols (mostly with sanitizers) can show lower rates of infection and also lower mortality rates.
