Talk to prescriber: If Your hand tremor is a side effect of your medication and the biperiden helps, I would think that you would probably needd to take it as long as you are using the meds causing the side effect of tremor

These symptoms can be Parkinson's like (tremor, shuffling walk), dystonic (sustained contractions of muscle groups, some cause abnormal posture) or akathisia (feeling of restlessness).  Akineton is a medication that helps treat the above side effects that can occur with Haldol (haloperidol) and other antipsychotic medications.

Withdrawal effects?: There aren't withdrawal effects of Haldol (haloperidol) in the usual sense.  Sudden discontinuation after long use may cause temporary dyskinesia, unlikely after only 1.5 months.  It's a good idea to take Akineton (biperiden) for a few days after stopping haldol, to be sure it's all out of your system.  You should discuss all this with your prescribing doctor, of course.

Depends on diagnosis: If you have a resolving depression, you may be able to get off Risperidone and biperiden, but that's something you need to talk to your doc about. If you've had hallucinations or delusions, a low dose of Risperidone may be something you need indefinitely. In other words, this is not something that can be clearly answered online. Discuss with your doc or get a second opinion.
