Not many: Many, if not most people who need help getting pregnant only find this out once they start trying to have a child! there are a few obvious tipoffs, like irregular/absent periods, childhood hormonal and/or anatomical problems, and a few others that can be quite obvious. But otherwise, there aren't many "outward signs" of infertility. Good luck!

If you mean: "anion gap", it is an unusual number to know about yourself. It is a measurement of ions that have either a positive or negative charge: sodium/potassium are cations (+'s) and chloride/bicarbonate at anions (-'s). "2" is a very unusual result (reference range is 8-16 mEq/L) and I would highly suspect this is an error in the lab result. Not sure why you had this done but only ordering MD can help:)

At birth.: They may not know what they see then, but they will react to light, and by 1-2 months should focus on your face.  When they answer your smile with theirs, then you'll know for sure!

Professional help.: When you engage in self- harm that likely means that things in your life are unmanagable. Unfortunately self- harm is not a healthy way to cope.  Entrusting yourself to the care of a good psychotherapist would be beneficial.

Get help: Don't try to go it alone. If you do not have a therapist, get one. If you do, talk to them. If you are meeting with a psychiatrist, tell them what is going on and find out what they recommend you to do. Most women: who menstruate naturally have all the female organs to get pregnant, but don't get pregnant due to other, sometimes unknown, reasons.  If having sex regularly and still not getting pregnant, tests can be done to check hormone levels, patency of the fallopian tubes and uterine shape,  sperm counts on male partners,  and meds can be given to stimulate ovulation if not regularly ovulating.
