Sitz baths: put 6 inches of warm water in tub and sit until cool. Do this twice a day. Add Epsom salts as desired. Stop shaving and use a trimmer to prevent this going forward.

Benign skin: I believe it is Skin  discoloration on the lip. Keep an eye. If they grow like "Bump" you can consult your doctor. Otherwise this is commonly seen in Dark skinned people.

See an MD tommrow AM: See your pcp or OB gyn.  There are several things which can cause this rash and most of these things will improve much faster if they are seen  and treated immediately.  To bring up a sore subject, herpes is a possibility, and it is key to treat this with oral meds  asap.  Skin infection and yeast infection can also both be causes of such a rash and are easily treated.  See a doc first thing to.

It works: Fractionated laser can be used in skin of color, and improves scars. There may be isolated white spots which repigment within a few months.

Razor bumps: A topical antibacterial otc such as benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid shampoo (t sal) may help to be used in the shower. See a dermatologist to diagnose and treat the condition.

Accepted Answer

Throw out the razor!: You may need a course of antibiotics yet i suspect you have pseudofolliculitis due to the embedded hair follicles from using a regular razor. You can prevent this by using a pre-shave lotion (barium sulfide, ask your pharmacist) or by tossing the manual razor and using an electric rotary razor.  Please see a doctor to assure you do not have a staph infection.   Good luck and safe shaving!

Keep it clean: Watch for signs of infection, like red streaks, pain, worsening redness, any drainage, etc, .  If on the outside where shaving occurs, you can try an over the counter topical antibiotic cream to the area.  If worsens, see the dr.  Best wishes.

Razor bump: It is not normal but common to occur. Nothing to do as it is burst now. Keep it dry and clean and let it heal by itself. If it gets red, or you get fever and increase in size with pain, see doc.
