Physical Eval: Before your begin any type of extreme sport,  get a thorough physical evaluation.  At the age of 56 if you have not be very athletic previously you should get a full cardiac evaluation. Once cleared begin slowly and progress with the advice of a trainer.

Hmm: Its cheap and easy to get, and you probably don't need much more for activities less than an hour in normal weather.

May be impossible to: avoid. Some sports are simply very high risk, and must be done understanding the risks, and accepting the risks. Always pay attention to proper body mechanics, and always engage in proper stretching techniques before and after the sports.

No: Aproperly done laminectomy doesn't affect spine stabilityin the low back check with uour surgeon if in your neck.

Good for you!: Almost everybody drinks coffee or some other form of caffeine, and as the world's most popular drug (by far) it seems amazingly safe. Don't overdo it, try to withdraw on quiet days when you can -- helps you catch up on rest. I was never a fighter but love to free-dive -- please be careful in all you do.

i am 29/m and i found out yesterday bouth my hips are cracked. i don't do extreme sports or even jump.  i had problems with wit d it was low?

Snap or crack?: If your hips are fractured that is definitely not normal and you should see a doctor. If your hips just make snapping noises that's very common and is often caused by tight muscles stepping over the hip bones. Sometimes a snap from the inside indicates a torn labrum.

haven't played sports in 7 yrs, played rugby yesterday and have extreme pain under both my knee caps, what could of caused this?

Quad weakness: Pain behind the patella can be chondromalacia, but it can also come from overuse. In this case, your muscles may be fine for most activities of daily living, but taking it up to the next level, like playing rugby, may lead to strain and referred pain to the patella area.  The answer is to rest until better then start a program of quad strengthening.  If they continue to hurt, see an orthopedic doc.

why is 31 too young 4 kyphoplasty i seen some studies online extreme sport injuries? i'm in pain 4 years now due compression fractures. surgery help?

Kyphoplasty: Kyphoplasty even now days is questionable, since some studies showed no benefit.

my child is 14 years old and he can't touch his toes when he stands up. he can only reach a few centimeters below his kneecap, he does sports all the time and his tightness is a disadvantage to his sport games, what should he do?

: Discuss with your pediatrician at a routine checkup.  Practicing a good warmup routine can also help improve hamstring flexibility.  Physical therapy may help, or a sports medicine specialist if available.

Exercise after C/S: Six months after a surgical procedure should be safe to attempt a "bungee jump".  Call your OB surgeon's office for an official "OK", however, since there may be reasons incorporate in your particular case which demand a more cautious approach.
