Bells palsy: The best thing to do for the eye is to keep it lubricated. Bell's palsy makes the eyelid not close to protect the surface of the eye, hence the eye can get very dry and irritated. This can make the vision blurry. Use a thicker lubricating drop at night.

Same side as Bells?: If it is on the same side as the Bells palsy I assume is  a leftover short circuit in the nerves. Twitching or tics are sometimes the result of such virus induced afflictions. It may or may not fade over time.

There is no true "cure" and there is doubt about the effect of medication.  Time will tell in each case.
