See your doctor: If the baby can't breathe it shouldn't wait and they need to be assessed.  It could be they have an allergy to dairy and/or soy and exposure to it in the breastmilk or formula is causing reflux and the acid is burning the throat and nose, causing extra mucous.  Saline drops for babies used after each feeding can help.  If turning blue or having poor weight gain see a doctor asap.

cough and congestion for 3 yrs no specialist or my pcp seems like they cannot find anything but acid reflux or bronchitis.  nothing has helped. ?

COPD vs Asthma: At times very hard to distinguish which of which, spirometry alone cannot differentiate, overlap is present. Other factors such as age, you are still young for full picture of COPD, other associated  problems as allergy, or hay fever, which you might have, also reflux, all affect the diagnosis. Full lung function testing is essential not just spirometry together with thourough history and exam

my 11 weeks daughter suffers from acid reflux. have taken meds, nothing helps. now with that, she has nasal congestion especially at night. wheezing?

Feedings: I would recommend feeding the baby at an angle, and removing nasal mucus with saline by using a suction bulb gently.
Your baby should be checked, since the wheezing may indicate that milk is being aspirated. Watch for any signs of breathing difficulty.

: A lot of overlap. Sounds like anxiety or sleep apnea. Consider polysomnogram. If reflux, elevate head of bed, no eating within 3-4 hrs before sleep, take omeprazole. Have ENT exam nose.

i have a white streak of mucus in back of throat, sinus rince clears up nose congestion but white streak is still present, i also have acid reflux?

Get evaluated: If you find that this streak has not changed or disappeared i would have your doctor take a look. Sometimes there are inflammatory changes during a cold but if this is a change in throat tissue that is not resolving i would get the professional opinion. Good luck!

: Not usually - unless the reflux was so bad as to cause gastric contents to regurgitate into your mouth and nose.  Even then, would likely occur as a single episode, not as continuous nasal congestion and runny nose.

Do you smoke?: Smoking does that. Certain types of bacteria also cause pneumonia without symptoms of runny nose or high fevers.

Be  clear: What  is  stubborn  means  ?  How  lond  do  you  have  it   how  often?  Is  it  seasonal  ?  Any  family  member  has  it?  Tke  some  decogetant    and  nucolytic  stuff  too.  Lot  of  water.
