Non specific symptom: Because it sound like diffuse pain --doctor has to evaluate for fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, myositis, neuropathy, and a lot of others like lupus group

Not sciatica : Is there tenderness near the protruding bones at your hips? Is it worse when you lay on your side ?

Could be: With your back issues. This could lead to gait or walking issues. Your body will try and compensate and could cause pain in hip knees etc.  talk to your doctor. I think physical therapy would be helpful
