: Vascular ectasia means dilatation of a blood vessel and can occur anywhere there are blood vessels. I do not recommend looking up on the internet as it is full of misinformation. Also trying to self diagnose is dangerous. The best thing is to ask your MD

You must be writing: for somebody else. Of course a 27 year old male doesn't have periods. "Unusual pain" in the stomach could have MANY causes: inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis or ulcer), reflux of acid stomach contents into esophagus, gall bladder problems, bowel obstruction, appendicitis, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. The only way to get a diagnosis is to have a professional examine you.

Varies: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents (nsaids) are effective pain medications which exert their effect by decreasing inflammation.  They all affect stomach lining and other organs.  Higher dose and duration of treatment increase risk.  Those with pre-existing stomach illness, elderly, etc. Are at higher risk. Combination with some other medications or alcohol increase risk as well.

Pruritis & Fever: The body itching, gastric upset,  and fever suggests a systemic response to something. It could be an infectious illness, such as hepatitis or another viral illness with liver or biliary tract involvement. I would immediately schedule an appointment with your doctor to run some simple screening test to determine the underlying problem.

Left stomach ache: Could be gastritis,  or constipation or gas in the splenic flexure of the colon. Make sure you have a good diet with fiber and plenty of fluid and regular bowel movements.If pain recurs /persists seek medical attention.

my nephew, who is three years old has a protruding stomach. he doesn't seem to be in pain, very active child. what may be the cause of it? it looks so abnormal

Hard to say: Without a full review of the kids past history, exam &amp; maybe testing it is hard to speculate on the cause. It could be as simple as excess gut gas with flabby stomach muscles or an abnormally large abdominal organ. The importance could be of little significance or a life altering process.

i rarely drink, and when i do it's usually only 1 or 2. i went out and had 5 which is highly unusual for me. i got sick. it's been 3 full days and still feel nauseous, should i be concerned? i've been forcing myself to eat and i can barely stomach it?

: Although you may still feel the effects of the excess alcohol intake, if the nausea persists in the next day or two, see your primary care physician for an exam and other testing.

GI complaints: It is not uncommom to have GI discomfort especially pain if you overall not comfortable with your readiness with your intimate relationship as a whole. Need to see doctor if happen repeatedly.
