Lymph node vx. infxn: There are lymph nodes in the armpits which can be felt as little lumps - sometimes we can feel them even if there is nothing wrong. Also possible to get ingrown hair, infected follicle or boil in the armpit if red/tender. If small, moves when you touch it, and no pain, it's fine to watch & wait, but if red, sore/painful or increasing in size, get checked by a doctor.

i have 2 lumps, one in my armpit area and the other just by my body right side, the pain goes and come but not really serious. what do i do?

Have it checked out: Enlarged lymph nodes, benign growths like sebaceous cyst, and malignant growths can present in the area of concern.  It is best to have your doctor look at them.  
F/u:  since your doctor felt it was lymph node, then next step is decide if it is large;/firm  to be concerned about cause.  Followup exam is one way; another is to obtain fine needle aspiration (stick needle into ln) biopsy.

See below: It could be lymph nodes, hydradenitis supperitiva, or enlarged muscle.  Without seeing you, it is hard to be definitive.  See your doctor for evaluation.

Sounds like: hydradenitis, or inflammation of the sweat glands.  Would recommend confirmation by your doctor after exam.

Abscess or lymph ?: Go see your doc to be examined an he may incise and drain it or just put u on an antibiotic.

Likely abscess: These are abscesses peobally from a blocked hair duct or a lymph node.See primary and til can get in do warm compresses 20 minutes at a time at least 3 timea a day.If can not see primary soon then urgent care.

Various causes: A persistent marble sized lump in the armpit could be a cyst, ingrown hair, early abscess or a growth. If the lump does not recede, have it checked by a physician.

Needs assessment: Hi. It is difficult to determine without examination. It is best to see your doctor who will rule out lymphadenopathy, which if present needs to be diagnosed. Lymphadenopathy causes range from minor to serious diseases. Take care

Must see it!: I would love to be able to reassure you but this requires evaluation by your doctor as my initial thoughts could be a cyst, an abscess, a hair follicle granuloma, or an enlarged lymph node which may indicate an underlying concerning condition.  Please get it checked if it lasts > one month.

Infection: Infection is the most frequent source of this acute onset illness and would strongly recommend you go immediately and be seen by a doctor. Go to an ER if necessary. Hopefully this will not be too severe and perhaps not due to infection, but do not ignore it and make sure you are seen ASAP. Good luck.
