Doctor can examine: A pre-pubertal girl with breast swelling can be examined by her primary care doctor such as her pediatrician. Breasts can have normal breast tissue that then gets inflamed due to playground trauma, such as running into something that hits the breast bud. Such a bud can then get swollen and painful. Also possible is infection so a doctor's exam is needed, usually an in-person exam.

Breast exam: I would make an appointment with your Family Doctor to have a breast exam done.  You can have pain in the breast without any mass or other discernable cause but it could also be a benign cyst.  In the meantime Evening Primrose oil (oral) can help with breast pain in general.

Fibrocystic changes: Although you are not having a menstrual period, you are experiencing fibrocystic changes (especially if this occurs in both breasts).  This is common.  The pain can be aggravated by caffeine intake, hormone intake and stress. Decreasing all of these can help relieve the pain. Make sure you have had a mammogram and the results are negative.  Become familiar with breast changes with breast self exam.

Get it checked out: If you have a cyst in the armpit and it is ruptured, then it may be inflamed and or infected.  If you are having breast tenderness now, then you need to be seen by a doctor.  The doctor will decide what the most appropriate treatment is for what is happening to you.
