Pregnancy?: There are various tests for pregnancy some better than others. The very best can pick up a pregnancy just 5 days after fertilization. I don't know what test you did but if you get the beta chain human chorionic gonadotropin blood test that should pick it up if you really are light with child.

Possibly: It is certainly possible to start ovulating before getting your period after a miscarriage, abortion, or live delivery. If you had unprotected sex, then pregnancy should be ruled out.  If negative, your symptoms could be related to several non-pregnancy conditions.

Possibly: There are many other causes of lower abdominal cramping as well, including the uterus contracting back to its normal size urinary tract infections colon problems and more.

Can be erratic: The periods can be a little irregular if post partum. If the pregnancy test is negative that is good. You should consult your gynecologist the have things checked. NO reason to worry about it, with the little info I have regarding the situation.
Some form of birth control needed I assume, so talk to the doctor please regarding that.

Depends: Hi.
For sure is not normal that happens. It could be due to several reasons including polycystic ovary syndrome or disregulation between your ovaries and the glands that control them.
Regardless of the reason, it can't be known without a thorough evaluation, history and physical examination.

No ovulation: The fact that you had a prolonged period makes me think that you may not have ovulated after your pregnancy. It may take another month or two before ovulations will kick in. During this time period the interval between periods may vary considerably as may the number of days you are on a period. Your cycles will become regular eventually.

Pregnancy test will not be positive until implantation occurs.
